On the wings of a snow-white dove
He sends His pure sweet love
A sign from above
On the wings of a dove
When troubles surround us, when evils come
The body grows weak
The spirit grows numb
When these things beset us, He doesn't forget us
He sends down His love
On the wings of a dove
On the wings of a snow-white dove
He sends His pure sweet love
A sign from above
On the wings of a dove
When Noah had drifted on the flood many days
He searched for land
In various ways
Troubles, he had some but wasn't forgotten
He sent him His love
On the wings of a dove
On the wings of a snow-white dove
He sends His pure sweet love
A sign from above
On the wings of a dove
On the wings of a snow-white dove
He sends His pure sweet love
A sign from above
On the wings of a dove
A sign from above
On the wings of a dove

Note from Carolyn
I had the privilege of meeting Charlie Pride in 1963. At the old St. Agnes Hospital in Fresno , Ca He was coming out of the elevator, as I was getting on. For some reason I looked up before running into him. I blurted out , your Charlie Pride and he smiled big. He said he had been visiting an old friend before his concert that night. After a nice short conversation , I went to the 4th floor to visit my Daddy that had spent three weeks in the hospital. Charlie Pride had always been a favorite singer of ours. He was kind , polite and a true gentlemen. And he took that extra few minutes to ask me , who I was there to visit. His last words were God Bless You...
