A little boy sat all alone in a wheelchair
He was watching all the other kid's run and play
On his face I saw a look far and distant
With trembling voice I heard this little boy say
They say you must be born again to enter heaven
Walk the straight and narrow way on this earth
I don't seem to understand all the reasons
I've never walked since the day of my birth
Will I be a Crippled Boy in Heaven
Will my wings refuse to sail through the air
Lord I know the way I am is for a reason
But will I be a crippled boy up there
His eyes were closed
His little face turned toward heaven
Will my life there be the same
I heard him say
Through tears of joy his face lit up
And I knew he had found the answer
He turned to me
And then I heard him say
I won't be a crippled boy in heaven
I know my wings will sail through the air
I can and run and play with
All the children
I won't be a crippled boy up there
I won't be a crippled boy in Heaven
I know my wings will sail through the air
I can run and play with
All the other children
There will be no crippled boys up there
