A Gift From God

Verse 1
A child was born, one cold cold day
There was no place, for Him to lay,
His fa-ther kept, Him from the snow
They laid Him in, a main-ger low.

Verse 2
He walked the shores, of Gal-i-lee
He gave His life, on Cal-vary,
His Fa-ther looked, down from a-bove
As He was nailed, to that, cruel tree

Chorus
He was a gift, from God a-bove
To turn this world, from sin to love,
His name was Je-sus, Lord of men
He suf-fered bled, and died for sin

Verse 3
He bled and died, His work was through
He-d paid the price, for me and you,
He's now in Heav-en up a-bove
With God His Fa-ther and His love

Verse 4
The price He paid, a gift of love
That you and I, could be a-bove,
To walk the street, thats paved with gold
Where there we ne-ver will grow old

Chorus
He was a gift, from God a-bove
To turn this world, from sin to love,
His name was Je-sus, Lord of men
He suf-fered bled, and died for sin
