I'm just a little baby
but I can do grown up things
like help my mommie while she knits
and tangle up the string,

I may be small and clumsy
but I promise not to cry
cause inside I'm a grown up
and lord knows I try!

I'm just a little kitten
but I drink milk from a dish
yes I can do grown up things
like help you catch the gold fish :)

I know I'm just a small fry
but inside I'm all grown up
and I'll try real hard to slurp real neat
when I drink from your coffee cup

I know I'm small and clumsy
and I like to chase my tail
and I'm so sorry I slid so far
when I helped you sort the mail

I know I may be little
but I'm warm and fuzzy too
but I promise not to purr too loud
if you let me sleep with you

Yes, I may be small and clumsy
And I promise not to cry
