I have waited and waited, Since this time last year, Where is that bunny, Why isn't he already here?
I have gotten all dressed-up, In a pretty new dress and shoes, If that bunny don't come soon, I'll have a good case of the blues.
I colored eggs in all colors, Have a basket filled with grass, I am tired of waiting and waiting, Don't know how much longer I will last.
Where is that ole Easter Bunny, Is he playing hide and seek, I want to see him this morning, If only I could have a little peek.
Come on Easter Bunny, I am tired of waiting on you, Please little Easter Bunny, I promise to play with you too.
Where oh where is that bunny, It has been so very long, Since I held that soft bunny, Now I guess he has just gone.
I think I saw the grass move, Like something walking real low, Oh I see you my darling bunny, My but in a year you did grow.
Come on now, hop over here, Let us start the day anew, Oh pretty Easter bunny, I have been so lost without you.
