Elvis Aaron Presley
~ January 8, 1935 ~ August 16, 1977)

Elvis was most every girl's dream
All through his career, so it would seem
He could sing like none before
And there was before him an open door.

He walked through it with ease
Just a country boy wanting to please
Not dreaming folks would put him on a throne
A tender heart, loving family, God, and home

He was known as the king of rock and roll
As he took the world on an Elvis Stroll
Loved by many, and still today
Has fans all over, near and far away!
