God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed
And though the mountains be carried
into the midst of the sea. Ps. 46:1-2

Hello Carolyn,

Thank you for your updates mail and it really is a pleasure to be able to call by again. The weather certainly sounds like I is extra cold and I have to admit that is not something I can say I experience. Even our coldest days are really only mild or cool at the worst.

Although it sounds a long way away, April is not that far and the surgery on your eyes will be well worth it especially if it is allowing you to see better and things will certainly improve. I will keep you in my prayers that your eye problems are healed quickly so that you can begin enjoying all the little things you have had to forgo. Until then, just rest your eyes as much as possible. You have many friends praying for you.

I was very interested to read about Roger Bennett, and his faith is certainly strong and a real guiding light for anyone who wishes to follow in that path. He has not allowed his illness to defeat him at all.

I should send the recipe pages to Sharon (my wife) and see what she does. I think I know what she would do as cooking is not one of her favoured pastimes, although she is a good cook, she just doesn’t enjoy it. She has a sign in her kitchen which reads…..”I Can Cook……….I Just Don’t”. I think that speaks for itself, but I am not complaining. She has kept me well fed for 33 years so something must be working.

“I Just Came To Talk With You Lord” is a beautiful page. I love the song and the voices of the The Rambo’s. Beautifully done both with graphics and sound and a real credit to you.

I have long been a fan of Jim Reeves and listening to him sing “A Beautiful Life” really is special. Once again a beautifully created page that is a true reflection to your ability.

Thank You for a lovely visit.

God bless you and yours always.

I Just Came To Talk With You Lord...so true, indeed, was this verse.

How many times I find that I tend to forget to just speak to The Lord when all is well.

Then, when grief and strife enter my life, my prayers will be forthcoming.

Thank you for bringing this to light.

Loved your graphic design...blue and gold is such a glorious comination.

Hope all will continue well for you with your medical journey.

Much love, DEE

Hi Carolyn!
Spending some moments visiting your site, my heart being blessed and touched while listing to Howard and Vestal Goodmans voices. Was always knowing they were going to be in Concert in Oklahoma and get to attend precious moments , as they glorified our Lord. Hoping your vision is doing better, Carolyn from your recent surgery.
God bless you richly and those you so dearly love.
All to Jesus and His Gloria Grace,
I Love you, So Dearly!! Forever with the Love of our Precious Savior!!

Carolyn...this verse said it all...

"I would love to get back to slowing down some."

I so enjoyed and needed to read "When Life Was Simple"

"Maybe as I get older this is a normal feeling."

So well put, and it hit home this day to me.

Such beauty abounds here.

Hope all is well...I still have this terrible cold.

My love to you...DEE
