Beyond The River
There lies the beautiful life of hope forever
No more tears, no more pain
The sorrows of life is never
There we have peaceful love to gain
Beyond this river of pain and sorrows
We will be given a life to be
At peace for all of our tomorrows
O God that is your promise to me
Somewhere beyond that flowing river
Is the wonder and beauty of forever love
That wonder and beauty is Christ the giver
Of our salvation and his eternal love

When They Ring Those Golden Bells For You And Me
There’s a land beyond the river That we call the sweet forever And we only reach that shore by faith’s decree One by one we'll gain the portals There to dwell with the immortals When they ring those golden bells for you and me
Don’t you hear the bells now ringing Don’t you hear the angels singing It’s the glory hallelujah jubilee In that far off sweet forever Just beyond the shining river When they ring those golden bells for you and me.
[ steel ]
When our days shall know their number When in death we'll sweetly slumber When the king commands the spirit to be free Never more with anguish laidin' We shall reach that lovely aimin' When they ring those golden bells for you and me
Don’t you hear the bells now ringing Don’t you hear the angels singing It’s the glory hallelujah jubilee In that far off sweet forever Just beyond the shining river When they ring those golden bells for you and me.
Performed by David Houston
