If Jesus Came To Your House

This is a story that I would
love to have happen.
How many of you would
agree that you would
love to open your door and
there would stand Jesus?
I have so many days and
more days than not,
that I would with open arms welcome
Jesus to come to my house!
Yes I would love to see
a lot of my good friends and loved ones.
But this is a friend that above all others,
I would love to get a knock on my front door from!
Well sure just like all of us,
this is someone that we would never expect
to get that surprise visit from.
But when I was young I heard this song,
and then I saw the song on the list of music
where I am getting so many of my new songs from.
Oh My I thought....
I have to get that song and make a page
and dedicate the page to Jesus!
I don't want to say a lot as I want you
to listen to each word that is being said.
How true is the words in this song?
Very true!
We can have all of the company that we want.
But none as important as this friend.
I will be the first one to say that for myself,
and I can only speak for myself,
I want to be ready so that if
Jesus were to come to my house,
I can let him come right on in.
I will not have to hide anything,
so that he can come in.
I also will say that I am in no way perfect.
There was only one perfect person
that has ever walked this earth
and that was Jesus!
I do hope that we can all really
listen to the words of the song
and go by what they say.
I don't know of a more easier set
of words that can be on a song than on this one.
It is so easy to understand!
So lets all get our house ready
so that if Jesus came without any notice,
we could let him in!
Most people want notice, to clean,
cook and get all prepared for our guest.
Some people don't like surprise guest,
and that is ok too!
But for Jesus we need to be all clean
and ready for Him to enter
through our front door.
And not have to run and hide
or get all ready before
he can come inside the door.
When he does return he will give us no warning,
he has told us that already in His word!
Jesus I would love for you to
make a surprise visit at my house!
