Art Is Fun

White canvas so cold and so bare,
Waits for the first stroke of color to appear,
Red, blue, pink and green,
Dance on the canvas waiting to be seen.

Splashes and dashes of colors come alive,
Telling a story for us all to thrive,
Each painting special in its own way,
Glimmers of God's Love is what I say!

True expressions from the heart,
Captured on canvas never to part,
Brushing here and brushing there,
Soon there is paint everywhere!

On my hands and on my cheek,
Painting is fun but please don't peek!
Wait until I have finished my pretty mess,
Now this is Art I must confess!
